This Thursday (24) marked another day of preparation for Flamengo for the match against Santos, a direct opponent at the top of the Brazilian Championship table. In the activity, Zé Ricardo led technical and tactical training at CT George Helal, starting to define the team that will take the field for this important confrontation.

After the warm-up, which involved ball work, stretching exercises, and muscle activation, the technical training began. This focused on improving the accuracy of passing, with instructions given by the Flamengo coach regarding movement. The objective was to create options for teammates, both in the build-up play, with dynamism and intensity, and in order to maintain possession of the ball in the midfield.

Immediately afterwards, it was time for tactical training. During this part of the activity, Zé Ricardo outlined the team that will start the match against the São Paulo team, and the game plan for this latest challenge for the beloved team was defined. Adjustments to the players' positioning were also made, with close guidance provided by the coach.

Flamengo will face the Santos team next Sunday (27), at Maracanã. The match will be valid for the penultimate round of the Brasileirão, with the ball rolling from 17 pm.
