The red-black squad returns and has first contact with coach Vítor Pereira
The Portuguese coach visited the Ninho do Urubu facilities and has already started working at the helm of the Rubro-Negro

After landing at around 6:20 am this Monday (2), in Rio de Janeiro, the new Mengão coach, Vítor Pereira, went to Ninho do Urubu to start his first day of work at the helm of Rubro-Negro. Accompanied by the vice-president of football, Marcos Braz, and the executive director, Bruno Spindel, the 54-year-old Portuguese visited the CT facilities and greeted the players.
The coach welcomed back Uruguayans Arrascaeta and Varela, who rejoined the squad today after their vacation. Everton Ribeiro and Pedro will also be available to the coach later this week.
After familiarizing himself with his new work environment, Vítor Pereira has already gotten his hands dirty and led a technical activity. It's worth noting that last week, assistant coach Rui Quinta and physical trainer Mário Monteiro began the club's preseason training.
Coach Vítor Pereira will be officially introduced next Tuesday (3), at 14 pm, in the CT press room. The press will be allowed to enter the training center premises from 13:30 pm.
