Flamengo began its preseason training this Thursday morning. The players reported back to the George Helal Training Center in Vargem Grande, where they underwent a series of medical exams. The group, as well as the coaching staff, took advantage of the breaks to catch up. 

Eduardo Bandeira de Mello, the club's new president, visited the training center and welcomed the players and coaching staff. Paulo Pelaipe, Executive Director of Football, also participated in the activities. Wallim Vasconcellos, Vice President of Football; Gustavo Oliveira, Vice President of Communication; Alexandre Wrobel, Vice President of Assets; and Cláudio Pracownik, Vice President of Administration and IT, also attended the team's return.

The Rubro-Negro debuts in the Campeonato Carioca on January 19th, against Quissamã. The match will be held at Engenhão, at 17 pm (Brasília time).
