After a Monday without activities, the Flamengo squad returned on Tuesday morning, in Gávea, to begin preparation work for Sunday's match against Palmeiras, at Maracanã.

On the field, coach Caio Júnior divided the squad into three teams and led a training session for the red-and-black players. Léo Moura, Juan, Luizinho, Airton, and Fábio Luciano were absent from the training session. The players underwent physical therapy in the club's pool. The athletes are expected to return to training with the group tomorrow afternoon.

Everton midfielder, having recovered from muscle pain, is currently undergoing physical training and could be one of coach Caio Júnior's options to replace Sambueza, who is suspended after receiving his third yellow card.
