Wednesday (19) was a two-shift work session at the George Helal Training Center. With an eye on the semi-final of the Campeonato Carioca, against Botafogo, on Sunday (23), Zé Ricardo took advantage of the day to test options and reinforce concepts.

In the morning, the squad played a training match against Ceres. Flamengo won 4-0, with goals from Trauco, Guerrero, Berrío, and Ederson. After lunch and resting in the training center, they returned to the field in the afternoon.

Zé Ricardo led a tactical training session closed to the press. During the session, he worked on triangulations and ball releases. Later, he worked on set pieces with part of the squad, while the rest trained on a reduced-size pitch.

Flamengo continues training until Saturday (22). On Sunday, they will play Botafogo to decide one of the places in the Campeonato Carioca final.
