Cast trains in Gávea
Players worked on their physical fitness in the morning and trained with the ball in the afternoon.
By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo's squad returned to training this Wednesday afternoon at Gávea Stadium. The red-and-black team is preparing for its next Brazilian Championship match on Sunday against Fluminense at Maracanã Stadium. The match is part of the 27th round of the competition.
In the morning, trainer Alexandre Sanz led a vigorous physical training session at the Gávea field. Adriano, Juan, and Petkovic did not participate in the activity and instead did weight training at the gym. Gil, Flamengo's new signing, trained normally with the rest of the group.
In the afternoon, coach Andrade divided the squad into four teams, which faced each other on a reduced-size field. The goal of the training session was to work on ball handling, movement, and finishing. Juan participated in the activity, and Petkovic and Adriano worked separately with assistant coach Daniel Jouvin.
