Squad trains transitions before facing Corinthians
Athletes work on offensive and defensive movements on Friday morning
By Francisco Freire - inThe day started early this Friday (28). About to face Corinthians, the red-black squad trained in the morning at the George Helal Training Center.
After a meeting between the squad and coaching staff, the players began muscle activation work. The players who participated in the match against Santos traveled from CEP Fla for regenerative work. Rhodolfo and Léo Duarte, recovering from injuries, did physical training and ran on the field. The others took to the field.
On the pitch of field five, Zé Ricardo led tactical training. The different phases of the activity all had the same focus: offensive and defensive transitions. The players worked on passing, movement, finishing, and ball releases under the watchful eye and constant observation of the coach. At the end of the activity, the players practiced finishing with assistant Cleber dos Santos.
In the post-training press conference, Zé Ricardo analyzed the match against Corinthians, which takes place on Sunday (30). The coach praised the consistency of the São Paulo squad and made a revelation about the red-black lineup for the match, which will debut.
"I can confirm that Diego Alves will play against Corinthians," said Zé Ricardo
