After ending their goal drought last weekend, Flamengo now needs to get back to winning ways. That's the thought of everyone in the Flamengo squad, but excessive eagerness could be another opponent to be faced this Wednesday (September 15.09th) at 22 pm, against Grêmio Prudente, at Prudentão.

Experienced defender Jean has integrated well into the team and knows he can help not only in defense, but also his teammates and the coaching staff. For him, the experience of the older players needs to be a gauge so that the younger ones feel calm and can lead Flamengo to victory.

"We are living through a learning moment. We need to use wisdom to manage this situation. The more experienced players need to take responsibility and bring calm to the younger ones. This will greatly contribute to the team getting out of this uncomfortable situation starting on Wednesday," said Jean.

The youngest player, 23-year-old Diogo, arrived at Flamengo with a weight on his shoulders: to score goals. After a few games wearing the sacred jersey, the young striker was left out of the last match and was able to properly assess the team's situation.

"It was clear that the team is really evolving. We showed good resilience in the last round, but there's no point in saying we lacked luck. We need to work hard to overcome adversity," he assessed, explaining the players' feelings before the matches.

"We really felt more anxious than usual, but it's impossible to go onto the field without composure. Wednesday's game is crucial and we need to get a win," Diogo concluded.
