Continuing preparations for the third round of the Brasileirão against Avaí, the Flamengo squad trained full time this Wednesday (20.05). After the physical work done in the morning, the athletes returned to the field for technical work in the afternoon.

Vanderlei Luxemburgo divided the squad into three teams and worked on half the pitch. While two teams faced off, the third waited. While one team attacked and aimed to score, the defending team aimed to get the ball to the midfield line. The coach focused on fundamentals such as possession, marking, and reducing space.

Preparations continue for the match against Avaí, on Sunday (24.05), at 16 pm, at Ressacada. The match will be valid for the third round of the Brazilian Championship.
