After beating Universidad Católica-CHI, the red-blacks trained for the Carioca final

If a team quickly gets back to work when it loses and doesn't waste time lamenting, a similar situation occurs when it achieves a dominant victory. One day after beating Universidad Católica-CHI at the Maracanã, the red-and-black squad gathered at the George Helal Training Center on Thursday afternoon (4) for another training session. Not letting the success of the victory go to their heads, the athletes prepare for the second leg of the Campeonato Carioca final, against Fluminense.

The players who played more than 45 minutes in Bridgestone's CONMEBOL Libertadores victory performed regenerative training, taking advantage of the CEP-Fla facilities. The remaining players took to the field, where they performed tactical and collective work with the support of youth players.

On field three, Rômulo and Leandro Damião did muscle-strengthening training with Michael Minthorne, an EXOS consultant at Flamengo. The injured midfielder is no longer feeling pain and is in an advanced stage of recovery.
