Members of the Nação Rubro-Negra Program lived special days with Thiago Maia and Pedro

Futmesa, basketball challenge and lots of chat. The presentations by Thiago Maia, on Thursday (23), and Pedro, this Friday (24), were full of unique moments for the Mais Querido's fan members. In addition to opening the athletes' press conferences, the Nação Rubro-Negra Program Members spoke with Mengão's new reinforcements and were also able to visit the Ninho do Urubu facilities. 

On Thursday, midfielder Thiago Maia began the match by demonstrating his skill in futmesa. In a doubles duel, the player and fan club member Fernando defeated club members Henrique and Otavio. Thiago was then called upon for a challenge in another sport: basketball. The Mengão player only needed one shot to win the duel.

"It was incredible. Visiting the training center was one of my biggest dreams as a Flamengo fan, and realizing it with the presentation of a player like Thiago Maia was better than expected. I played basketball at the club for a while, and I clearly forgot my learning curve, but the experience of kicking the ball around with a player like him was unforgettable. I'll cherish that memory forever," Henrique commented after the challenge. 

On Friday, club member João recalled a very special moment for the Nation in the first question of the press conference: "Recently, you posted a video on social media with several photos of you wearing a Flamengo jersey. I wanted to know where you were on December 6, 2009, when we were six-time Brazilian champions," João asked the new striker of the Mais Querido. 

"At the Maracanã. I was in the stands, watching the game against Grêmio. It was a tough game, we started off losing, but with goals from David Braz and Angelim, both headers, we won the Brazilian Championship. I was there watching and was so happy," said the Mengão signing.
