Five times for the national team and six times for Flamengo, Kleberson seeks new titles wearing the sacred mantle
By From the team at Flamengo's official website - inAfter the World Cup in South Africa, Kleberson returned to Flamengo confident he had achieved one of his biggest goals for the season. However, the Rubro-Negro's number 15 still wants more. The player dreams of winning more titles wearing the sacred jersey and, to that end, he has been working hard every day.
"I came back from a three-month injury. I wanted to play in a World Cup, and I did. I was happy with this opportunity God gave me. I returned to Flamengo. I'm pursuing my ideal, and I'm a guy who has had positive things in life. Nothing can harm me. I have great support from my family, from the people who love me, and I always work to bring them joy," he said.
Knowing that he needs to improve for the rest of the season, Kleberson believes he can still perform better.
"I'm on the right path. The more you play, the more you improve. I've learned a lot from my mistakes. Sometimes, by making mistakes, you learn that you have to do things differently. To get where I am, I had to make mistakes to get things right. Things will happen at the right time. I'll score goals, make good passes, and help Flamengo. Everything has its time," he said.
The midfielder emphasizes the importance of being in good physical condition and celebrates the fact that he has the freedom to create plays in midfield.
"I train well, I always try to be in good physical shape, especially considering my role on the field. I played more up front at Atlético, then more as a second midfielder and getting in a bit more. I've never lost that creative ability. Here I have more freedom because we play with two box-to-box players and Petkovic, so I come in as a surprise man to try to finish," he added.
