On Saturday afternoon (26), in Caxias do Sul, Flamengo held its last training session before the match against Juventude, which will be played tomorrow (27), at 11 am, at Estádio Alfredo Jaconi-RS, for the seventh round of the Brasileirão. The Mais Querido occupies the eighth position in the championship with nine points in four games played. It is worth remembering that Rubro-Negro had two matches postponed, against Grêmio and Athletico-PR, in the second and fourth rounds, respectively.

The Flamengo delegation landed in Caxias do Sul this morning and received the affection of the fans, who welcomed the team upon arrival at the hotel. Defender Rodrigo Caio remained in Rio de Janeiro as a precaution, following a physiological evaluation. Due to the number of consecutive games, the process will be carried out with other athletes who will also undergo regular evaluations.

As a way of supporting the LGBTQIA+ awareness movement, Flamengo will take the field this Sunday, the day before International LGBTQIA+ Pride Day, with the numbers on their jerseys in rainbow colors, as well as the captain's armband.

Flamengo and Juventude have faced each other 25 times, with a fairly balanced record. Flamengo has nine wins, seven draws, and nine losses. The last match between the teams ended in a 2-2 draw at Alfredo Jaconi-RS, in the 2007 Brazilian Championship. On that occasion, Léo Moura and Leonardo scored the goals for Flamengo.
