Decision night! This is how Flamengo approaches the duel with LDU this Thursday (15), at 21:30 pm, at Maracanã. The match, valid for the fifth round of Group C of the Libertadores, is decisive for the Mais Querido's ambitions in the continental competition. If they win, Rubro-Negro will depend only on themselves to guarantee qualification to the round of XNUMX in the last round, when they face Deportivo Táchira, in Rio de Janeiro.

For this upcoming game, coach Filipe Luís will be without Allan (right thigh injury), Erick Pulgar (right thigh injury), and Plata (right knee edema). Uruguayans Arrascaeta and De La Cruz are suspended and, if they receive yellow cards, will be out for the final round.

Mengão is in third place in Group C with five points, and if they beat the Ecuadorian team by two goals, they'll move up to second. If they draw, the red-and-black team still has a chance of qualifying, but that will depend on a different result in the final round. A defeat will eliminate the Rio de Janeiro team from the competition.
