In a press conference this Wednesday (29) at Ninho do Urubu, midfielder Gerson answered questions sent by the press through FlaTV. In one of the topics addressed, the red-black midfielder praised the work done by Flamengo's board in the search for a new coach to lead the team for the rest of the season. Check out some excerpts:

"He's a very intelligent coach. We players have discussed this; his activities are very intense and highly qualified. He's working at his best. He knows his moment will come. I don't know if it will be now, but I believe he's ready to take over the team one day."

Adaptation
"We players always have to be willing to adapt to whatever the coach asks. We had a style of play. Now, depending on the professional who arrives, we don't know how they like to play. But we have to be prepared and open to new changes, because that's football."

Arrival of a new coach
"We follow it on social media, where there's a lot of buzz about new coaches arriving. We leave that to Flamengo's board, which is always doing a great job."

New achievements ahead
"Our team remains the same. We continue with the same focus, which is always to win titles and achieve our goals. We're working every day so that when the competitions begin, we can reach the ultimate goal, which is always to fight for titles."
