Flamengo concluded its preparations this Wednesday (15) to face América-MG, in a match for the second round of the Primeira Liga Cup. After the activities at Ninho do Urubu, midfielder Rômulo appeared at the Victorino Chermont Press Room, where he gave a press conference.

Rômulo joined the red-and-black team in 2017 and demonstrated his quality from the first moments he donned the Sacred Mantle. During a conversation with reporters, the athlete commented on his physical condition at the beginning of the season. "Here, we're always monitored regarding training and matches. When we're a little tired, they try to recover," said the number 27, praising the quality of the group. "The squad is well prepared and qualified to handle the task," he added.

Despite having recently arrived, Rômulo already forms a solid midfield partnership with Willian Arão, combining great technical quality with strong marking ability, characteristics of both players. When asked about the partnership, the midfielder was full of praise for his teammate. "It's very easy to play alongside him. He's a guy who gets forward well, but also helps a lot in the marking. Working together daily, we'll become even more in tune to help the team," he exclaimed.
