With Argentine Sambueza suspended for his third yellow card, Kleberson earned a spot in midfield. The starting lineup began training with Bruno; Jailton, Fábio Luciano, and Ronaldo Angelim; Léo Moura, Airton, Ibson, Kleberson, and Juan; Marcelinho Paraíba and Obina. The first half ended in a 0-0 draw.
In the second half, three changes were made to the starting lineup. Luizinho came in on the left wing, replacing Juan, who was rested for the second half. Marcelinho Paraíba was replaced by Everton, who formed the attack with Obina. Jailton felt pain in the back of his left thigh and was replaced by Toró. With the change, Airton was moved back to the third center-back role. With this formation, the starting lineup opened the scoring with Léo Moura, scoring after a beautiful pass from Toró.
