Flamengo's squad returned to training on Tuesday afternoon in Gávea. During a collective training session, coach Andrade finalized the team's details for the next Brazilian Championship match, Thursday, against leaders Atlético-MG at Maracanã.

During the training session, Andrade maintained the same team that defeated Santos on Sunday at Vila Belmiro. The starting lineup trained with: Bruno; Welinton, Airton, and Ronaldo Angelim; Léo Moura, Toró, Willians, Kleberson, and Everton; Emerson and Adriano. The reserves took the field with: Marcelo Lomba; Everton Silva, Marlon, Fabrício, and Jorbison; Lenon, Guilherme Camacho, Fierro, and Petkovic; Zé Roberto and Bruno Paulo. The starting lineup won the training session 2-1, with goals from Léo Moura and Adriano, with Zé Roberto pulling one back for the reserves.

Juan, with pain in his right knee, only walked laps around the field. Defender David worked on his physical fitness in the gym and on the field.
