Hey, Vitinho!

Preparation for the duel against Palmeiras was finalized on Friday afternoon (26), and before the training session that took place at Ninho do Urubu, striker Vitinho gave a press conference. The number 14 spoke about the good moment he has been experiencing at Mais Querido.
"I've been trying to be more relaxed during the game, and I've been able to play well. I was a little anxious at the beginning, but I've been looking for balance, which was something I needed. I put too much pressure on myself, and that may have hindered me. In the end, I'm the one who makes the decisions, and I need to know how to control them. I believe I put too much pressure on myself, and that ended up interfering. The atmosphere here is different. I also experienced pressure at other clubs I've played for, but Flamengo is different, and you have to learn to deal with it."
Still speaking to journalists, Vitinho emphasized the importance of beating Palmeiras and gaining more momentum in the fight for the Brazilian Championship title.
"It's the most important game of the year because it's a direct confrontation against the league leaders. Working well and achieving this victory will bring us closer to them. It's a big match for us and we need to win. This would put us even closer to the title race. We have to behave as we have been playing. They are a difficult opponent and repeating our previous performances is fundamental, as this has given us a boost in the championship. We have to maintain this attitude; this way we will bring the fans to our side, as they already are. Our attitude on the field will be crucial."
