On Thursday night (10), at Maracanã, in celebration of Children's Day, the Sacred Mantle gained an even more special touch. In a match valid for the 24th round of the Brazilian Championship, which ended with a 3-1 victory over Atlético-MG, Flamengo entered the field with uniforms designed by children from six philanthropic institutions in Rio de Janeiro. 

The jerseys were personalized with the players' numbers and names, and after the game, they were signed by the entire squad. Now, they will be donated to institutions, which can use them to raise funds for their projects and activities. Instituto Mundo Novo, Projeto Gramachinhos, Obra Social Dona Meca, Aldeias Infantis SOS, Lar Luz e Amor, and Casa de Apoio à Criança com Câncer de Santa Teresa participated in the initiative, an initiative of the Communications department in partnership with Mais Querido's Social Responsibility department.

New World Institute - Located in Baixada Fluminense, the Instituto Mundo Novo has been working with children and young people for 16 years through education, culture, and professional training projects. The IMN also works with families, offering training and income-generating courses, aiming to achieve independence and confidence.

Gramachinhos Project - The Gramachinhos Project works to eradicate hunger, provide early childhood education, and provide psychological and material assistance to the families of waste pickers and residents of the Jardim Gramacho landfill and surrounding area. Through donations and volunteerism, the project distributes food baskets to families in socially vulnerable situations.

Dona Meca Social Work - A philanthropic institution that provides free care to over 250 children with disabilities, offering physical therapy, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy, speech therapy, psychology, psychomotor skills, and sports and cultural activities to ensure children's basic rights to health and nutrition. OSDM also works with families through guidance, lectures, psychological counseling, and alternative treatments such as shiatsu and acupuncture, as well as information on social rights and benefits.

SOS Children's Villages - A global humanitarian organization promoting social development, working since 1949 to defend, guarantee, and promote the rights of children, adolescents, and young people. In Brazil, it operates in 10 states and the Federal District, where it operates activities that generate positive impacts for more than 11 people through projects in education, sports, leisure, income generation, and employment, with a focus on breaking the cycle of poverty and violence.

Home Light and Love - A non-profit organization that works in the socio-legal field, supporting children between the ages of 1 and 4 from communities in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The institution supports children by providing food, developmental stimulation, safety, and affection.

Santa Teresa Children's Cancer Support Center - Working with children with cancer, the organization provides free accommodation, meals, transportation to hospitals, psychosocial support, and recreational activities to young patients. Families are provided with vocational training and food support. The institution receives an average of 80 families per month from various parts of the country.
