After arriving in Tangier for the Club World Cup semifinal match against Al-Hilal, coach Vitor Pereira held a press conference alongside defender David Luiz at the Ibn Batouta Stadium. Check out the highlights:

"The coach's job is to align collective thinking. We need to prepare the team for moments when we'll press high or medium, or when they'll push us back. In attack, sometimes we'll play high, sometimes we'll be pressured and have to escape the pressure. Understanding emerges, this collective identification."

"The workload isn't much, but I knew that when I accepted the challenge. The Club World Cup was already on the calendar at that point. There's a lack of time, but that will never be an excuse for not taking on the ambition we're setting ourselves," he concluded.

David Luiz, one of the leaders of the current squad and who played in European football for 15 seasons, highlighted that Chelsea's defeat to Corinthians in the 2012 Club World Cup changed the perception of clubs from the Old Continent about the competition.

"Without a doubt. Today, that generation of Chelsea, of great players, was much more frustrated afterward than they were that year. Because of the appreciation that South Americans have always given. And I think that's changed; now they understand the importance of the World Cup because you play against other teams from around the world. So, that Chelsea team understood more when they lost. I think Europeans now have a different perspective on this competition."

Flamengo and Al-Hilal face each other this Tuesday (7), at 16 pm (Brasília time), at the Ibn Batouta Stadium, in Tangier. The winner guarantees a place in the Club World Cup final.
