With a team made up of Under-20 athletes and already champions, Flamengo took to the field this Saturday (6), at Maião, and drew with Mirassol 3-3, for the last round of the Brasileirão. In a six-goal game, Douglas Telles and Guilherme (2) scored for Mengão, who finish the championship honorably.

The game
The match began with both teams looking to maintain possession. On their first dangerous attack, Flamengo opened the scoring. After a cross from the right, Guilherme managed to deflect the ball, which hit the post. Douglas Telles pounced on the rebound and found the back of the net at the Maião stadium: 1-0.
Subsequently, Mirassol leveled the score at 12' with Chico Kim, who received the ball in the area and finished with a first-time shot into the top right corner of Dyogo Alves' goal: 1-1. After the equalizer, the red-and-black team continued to try offensive plays. At 19', Douglas Telles received the ball on the right, carried it towards the middle and took a shot from the edge of the area. The ball went just wide of the post.
With greater ball possession, Flamengo persisted in attacking and regained the lead in the 30th minute. Guilherme received the ball in midfield, carried it to the edge of the area and unleashed a beautiful shot to score Flamengo's second goal: 2-1.
In the final stretch, Mirassol equalized again. Chico Kim went to the end line and crossed low for Alesson to control and shoot hard into the goal: 2-2. The first half was very eventful, and the teams went into halftime tied.
After the break, the Flamengo youngsters continued their attacking play, trying to regain the lead. In the 10th minute, Douglas Telles received the ball on the right wing, dribbled past his marker and shot towards the corner. The goalkeeper parried it for a corner.
The third goal came in the 13th minute, again with Guilherme. Douglas Telles crossed to the far post, Wallace Yan headed the ball towards the middle of the six-yard box, Walter made a partial clearance, but the ball fell perfectly for the Flamengo midfielder to slide it into the net: 3-2.
Shortly after, Mirassol leveled the score again, in a game full of goals. Cristian picked up the rebound in the area and finished into the net: 3-3. As the minutes went by, the teams continued to look for opportunities to attack and the game remained back and forth.
In the final minutes, Flamengo pressed forward in search of the winning goal. In the 44th minute, Michael received the ball at the edge of the area and shot low, forcing a save from Walter. The referee added five minutes of stoppage time, and the match ended in a draw. A good game from the Flamengo youth team, who honored the sacred jersey and Flamengo's victorious campaign. Now it's full focus on the Intercontinental Cup in search of a second title!
