This Sunday (19), Flamengo and São Paulo drew 2-2 at the Mané Garrincha stadium, in Brasília. The São Paulo team was in the lead twice in the match, with two goals scored by center forward Jonathan Calleri. After the first goal, the red-black team sought to equalize with an own goal by Rodrigo Caio, and, after the second, Willian Arão equalized the score.

Flamengo's next match will be next Wednesday, against Santa Cruz, at 21 p.m. at Arruda Stadium.

The first ten minutes of the match saw Flamengo largely dominating possession. However, in the 11th minute, a deflected cross at the edge of the São Paulo box sparked a counterattack. Paulo Henrique Ganso received the ball on the left and found Calleri with a precise pass through the middle of the defense. The striker found himself one-on-one with Muralha and made no mistake. Flamengo went in search of an equalizer and found it after a move down the left flank. After a good play between Alan Patrick and Jorge, the midfielder delivered a precise pass to Éverton, who crossed the ball at mid-height into the São Paulo box. Goalkeeper Denis deflected the ball, but it hit defender Rodrigo Caio and ended up in the back of the net.

Early in the second half, Calleri scored his second goal of the match. Kelvin crossed from the right, and the center forward headed home. Despite the deficit, Flamengo continued to dominate the match and equalized seven minutes later. Alan Patrick took a precise free kick, and Willian Arão headed it firmly, leaving Denis with no chance. Near the end of the match, defender Maicon awarded a penalty to Emerson. The penalty was not converted, and the score remained 2-2.
