On Sunday afternoon (26), in a match played in the 11th round, Flamengo was defeated by Fluminense 2-1 at Arena das Dunas, in Natal. The first goal of the match came only in the second half, with an own goal by Willian Arão. Peruvian striker Paolo Guerrero scored the equalizer six minutes later. But, in a ball poorly passed back by Rafael Vaz, Richarlison took advantage and dribbled past Alex Muralha to define the score.

The Mais Querido's next match will be against the Internacional team. The game will take place on Wednesday (29), at the Kléber Andrade Stadium, in Cariacica (ES), at 19:30 pm.

The game

The red-and-black team largely dominated the first half. Many chances were created, particularly on the left side of the Tricolor defense. Alan Patrick had the clearest opportunity. After a cross from Marcelo Cirino, the midfielder shot off balance in a tussle with Wellington Silva, sending the ball wide. Fluminense also created a few opportunities, but the defensive performance of Zé Ricardo's men was solid.

Early in the second half, Flamengo opened the scoring with an own goal from Willian Arão following a corner kick. After that, Flamengo again put pressure on the opposing team. In the 12th minute, Alan Patrick took advantage of a rebound from the defense and fired a powerful shot. Diego Cavalieri made the save, but Paolo Guerrero was there to put the ball in the back of the net.

Fluminense took the lead thanks to Richarlison. After Rafael Vaz passed the ball back to Alex Muralha, the Tricolor striker was quick and opportunistic to score, giving the match its final score.
