Flamengo was all joy last Thursday, at Ilha do Urubu, by beating Bahia 4-1 reunited with the fans at home. Besides the goals on the field, we had emotional moments off it, thanks to them, the children, who always fill us with purity and joy.

During warm-ups, Rhuan Matheus stood at the side of the pitch, seeing the players up close for the first time. While battling cancer, the eight-year-old was making his debut in a soccer stadium and was able to witness his idols Diego and Guerrero up close. He also had the joy of seeing Diego score two goals in the rout. Flamengo wishes Rhuan all the luck and strength in his personal struggle.

Also present at Ilha do Urubu were twins Miguel and Michel, sons of Anderson Duque Estrada de Souza, who passed away before the Copa do Brasil final against Cruzeiro at Mineirão Stadium. The two took the field with the players and also participated in a penalty shootout during halftime. The result? Who cares? The two boys' joy is the most important thing. May the young red-and-blacks be happy.
