Last Thursday (16), Flamengo held the fifth edition of the Sangue Rubro-negro campaign, in partnership with Hemorio, at the Gávea social headquarters. The Hemorio team was at the Gávea social headquarters, from 10 am to 15 pm, collecting blood in the playground's party room. Athletes, employees and associates were able to schedule their donation. 

Blood donation is essential for healthcare facilities to continue treating patients during treatments and surgeries. The only way to guarantee a blood supply is through voluntary donations.

 

To donate blood, you must: carry an official photo ID, original or certified copy; be between 16 and 69 years old; be well-nourished and in good health; weigh more than 50 kg; and not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
