In Quito, an Ecuadorian city 2.800 meters above sea level, Flamengo held its last training session before the match against Independiente del Valle, which will be played this Thursday (17), at 21 pm, at the Casa Blanca stadium. Under heavy rain and very cold, coach Domènec Torrent led a tactical workout on the field of the Ecuadorian National Team's training center.

"Flamengo fans can be sure that the players are very focused on this match. We know it's not easy playing here, but we'll do everything we can to make a good impression," said Dome.

The match against Del Valle is part of the third round of the Copa Libertadores group stage. It's worth noting that Rubro-Negro has already won two matches (Junior Barranquilla and Barcelona de Guayaquil) in the competition and currently sits second in Group A with six points.
