Flamengo's squad returned to training this Friday afternoon in Gávea. During a tactical training session, coach Andrade finalized the team's details for Sunday's match against Internacional at Beira-Rio Stadium. The match is part of the 26th round of the Brazilian Championship.

Andrade began training with the base of the team that defeated Coritiba in the last round of the Brasileirão. The new additions were Zé Roberto, who formed the attacking duo with Adriano, and Diego, who will replace Bruno, who was suspended for the match. After 15 minutes of training, Andrade removed Fierro from the starting lineup and brought on David, leaving the team in a 3-5-2 formation.

With this formation, Adriano felt pain in his right thigh and left training. According to doctor Marcelo Soares, Gávea's number 10 is not a concern for Sunday's match. After the Emperor's departure, Bruno Mezenga took over the attacking spot. In the end, Andrade tested Lenon in David's place.

The starters won the training session 2-1, with goals from Bruno Mezenga and Zé Roberto. Maxi scored for the reserves. Juan and Toró participated in the entire training session with the reserve team.

The starting team trained with: Diego; Léo Moura, Álvaro, Ronaldo Angelim and Everton; Maldonado, Airton, Fierro (David and later Lenon) and Petkovic; Zé Roberto and Adriano (Bruno Mezenga). The reserves entered the field with: Marcelo Lomba; Everton Silva, Welinton, David (Rômulo) and Juan; Lenon, Toró, Willians and Guilherme Camacho; Maxi and Bruno Mezenga (Alex Cruz).

After training, Andrade said that he will only define the starting team that will face Inter moments before the match.

"I've trained three options: one with Fierro, another with David, and the last with Lenon. I still have some doubts and won't decide until Sunday. There are three great options. With Fierro, we play with two wide players: him on the right and Zé on the left. With Lenon, we gain strength in midfield. David, on the other hand, is a player who has been developing and plays the sweeper role very well. The most important thing is that all the formations are well-trained, and we are prepared."
