After working hard on their physical condition in the first training sessions of the week, the Flamengo squad returned to the field in a tactical activity organized by coach Cuca this morning at the Gávea field. The Flamengo coach begins preparing the team for the match on the 4th against Ivinhema (MS) in the Copa do Brasil.

Cuca confirmed at today's press conference what he had said earlier in the week. With 12 players on each side, the coach made several changes to the team that was considered the starting lineup for the Guanabara Cup.

With Fábio Luciano suspended for the first game of the Rio Cup and Ronaldo Angelim injured, the defense was formed by young Wellinton and Douglas, a former Santo André player. On the wings, Everton Silva and Juan. Cuca made significant changes in the midfield. With Willians injured and recovering in the academy, Airton, Toró, and Kleberson trained as defensive midfielders in the starting lineup. Léo Moura was moved to the creative role, alongside Ibson. Up front, Zé Roberto and Josiel.

The match ended with a 5-2 victory for the starters. Juan, Josiel (2), and Ibson scored the goals for the main team. Paulo Sérgio scored both goals for the reserves.

In the press conference after training, number 2 Léo Moura said that the activity with 12 players on the line is important to train the team's marking.

"The 12-man training session helped us to bring the team closer together, tighten the marking when we lose possession, and always have someone on us. The change in formation will be well received by everyone. We're not used to two lines of four, but with the training sessions, we'll deliver what Cuca expects."
