Flamengo's squad returned to training Monday morning in Gávea. Coach Cuca took advantage of the tactical training to finalize the team's details for the club's Copa do Brasil debut on Wednesday against Ivinhema (MS) in Campo Grande.

Cuca fielded the starting lineup as follows: Bruno, Everton Silva, Fábio Luciano, Welinton, Juan; Aírton, Toró, Léo Moura, and Ibson; Zé Roberto and Josiel. The red-and-black coach repeatedly halted training to correct the team's positioning errors. The coach's first change was to introduce Maxi in Airton's place. With the change, Zé Roberto was moved to midfield. Playing a key role in creating plays, the number 10 scored the starters' only goal. Soon after, Cuca tested the team again, returning Airton to the starting lineup, this time in Zé Roberto's place.

The coach suspended training on several occasions to practice set pieces. Set pieces and throw-ins received considerable attention from the red-and-black coach.

After the activity, Cuca praised Léo Moura and said that the team's objective is to win by playing well.

"I think the team will have more speed and creativity with Léo Moura in midfield. He has excellent game vision, and little by little the team will gel better. The goal is to play well and get a good result, because then it'll be easier to correct the mistakes we still make."

This Monday afternoon, the Flamengo delegation embarks for Mato Grosso do Sul.
