In a vote, CODE unanimously approves red-black participation in the management of Maracanã
The administration of Flamengo and Fluminense will be valid for the next six months, with a term extendable for another 180 days.
By Flamengo Communication - inIn an extraordinary meeting of the Deliberative Council held this Wednesday (10), at the Gávea headquarters, the proposal and draft of the permission term for use of the Maracanã Complex between Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro were unanimously approved, in accordance with items IX and XX, article 88, of the Social Statute.
"Our priority has always been to work on the management of Maracanã. I'm sure it will be very good for all the clubs, in addition to Flamengo and Fluminense, and for Rio de Janeiro football," celebrated Rodolfo Landim, president of Flamengo.
The management agreement will be in effect for the next six months, with the possibility of an extension of another 180 days. The clubs will bear the Maracanã's fixed costs and will have control over other activities and facilities within the complex, which includes the Maracanãzinho gymnasium, Célio de Barros Stadium, Júlio Delamare Aquatic Park, and the Maracanã Tour.
This Friday (12), at 11 am, there will be a press conference at Palácio Guanabara for further clarification, with the presence of the governor of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Wilson Witzel, the red-black leader, Rodolfo Landim, and the president of Fluminense, Pedro Abad.
