Emerson Sheik is Flamengo's new striker

The athlete played for Mais Querido in 2009, after successful stints in Japan and the Arab world, and was part of the squad that won the Brazilian championship that year. Returning to Gávea after six seasons, Sheik signed a contract until the end of 2015.
 
Known for his decisive goals, Emerson Sheik made his debut with the Sacred Mantle in the Fla-Flu match for the 2009 Rio Cup, securing a 1-1 draw with his rival Tricolor in the final minute of the match. The striker also played for Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates, Fluminense, Botafogo, and Corinthians. He will be presented at the club's headquarters, in the Rogério Steinberg auditorium, in Gávea, this Wednesday (June 17.06), at 11:30 am.
