In the debut of the third jersey, Flamengo was held to a 0-0 draw with Madureira this Saturday afternoon at Maracanã. With the result, the red-and-black team reached 16 points in Group A and secured a spot in the semifinals of the Taça Rio.

The game started at a very slow pace. The first good chance came only in the 24th minute. After a beautiful exchange of passes, Léo Moura crossed, and Maxi headed the ball, which goalkeeper Renan saved. Soon after, Juan took a shot from distance, and the Madureira goalkeeper saved another.

Flamengo threatened again with a header, this time from Fábio Luciano. Madureira only threatened late in the first half, with Milson shooting from distance.
