In a memorable year, in which they won the State and Brazilian Championships together for the first time in their history, the Rubro-Negro finds itself with uncertainties regarding the formation of their squad for 2010.

To clarify each player's situation at the club, Flamengo's official website team has prepared a list of all the members of the six-time champion squad and the expiration dates of their respective contracts. Players whose contracts expire at the end of this year: goalkeeper Diego, defender Ronaldo Angelim, full-back Everton Silva (loan), midfielder Everton (loan), striker Zé Roberto (loan) and midfielder Alex Cruz.

Players whose contracts expire in the middle of next year: striker Adriano (May 30), defender Alvaro (June 30), midfielder Maldonado (on loan until August 30), defender David (on loan until June 30), Serbian Petkovic (June 15), striker Gil (June 30), Chilean Fierro (on loan until August 25), Maxi (July 3) and Rômulo (August 31).

Players whose contracts expire at the end of next year: full-back Juan, defender Marlon and goalkeeper Paulo Victor, both on December 31st.

Players whose contracts end in 2011: midfielders Willians (June 31) and Lenon (May 31) and full-back Leonardo Moura (December 31).

Players whose contracts end after 2011: midfielder Airton (December 2013), goalkeeper Bruno (December 2012), striker Mezenga (April 2012), midfielder Erick Flores (September 2013), defender Fabrício (November 2013), midfielder Camacho (June 2013), full-back Jorbison (February 2012), midfielder Kleberson (December 2012), goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba (December 2012), full-back Galhardo (July 2012) and defender Welinton (July 2014).

In addition to this group, Flamengo can also, if it wishes, use players who still have current contracts with the club but were loaned out last season. This is the case with full-back Egídio, midfielders Vinícius Colombiano, Vinícius Pacheco, and Vander, and forward Paulo Sérgio.
