Upon his return to the field, Obina hopes to dedicate his first goal to his family and Flamengo's physiotherapists.

The star says that inside the box there is no one like the short Romário

Rio - In an interview with TV O DIA, Flamengo striker Obina revealed that upon his return to the field, expected in July, he hopes to dedicate his first goal to his family and Flamengo's physiotherapists. "I'm dedicating myself and working my hardest to make this recovery as soon as possible. I want to dedicate the first goal of my return to my whole family and the physiotherapists. I hope to honor everyone who helps me. I just ask the fans to be patient. I'm not going to score three goals in my first match," he said.

Flamengo's fan favorite preferred not to talk about his best attacking partner. "It's not just Roni and Souza. Flamengo has several attackers. I really enjoy playing with both of them. I want to be on the team, regardless of who's alongside me. Roni gives his all, but unfortunately, the ball isn't going in."

Elimination from the Libertadores - "We lacked intelligence. We conceded three goals away from home and our elimination happened in Uruguay. At home, we put on a show. We lacked intelligence away from home."

Time to leave Flamengo - "I'm not even thinking about leaving Flamengo. Even though I'm injured, I have the support of everyone at the club and I want to be focused on playing in this Brasileirão. A move to Europe would be a financial issue. It could help my family, but right now I'm thinking about staying at Flamengo."

Playing for Vasco - "It would be a huge betrayal for Flamengo fans. Not even the president of Flamengo would accept a deal like that."

Doubts about his potential - "In 2005, I was injured for a month, and the fans were doubtful about my potential. I've been changing things up a bit and I'm experiencing a different moment. I've gotten into Flamengo's good books, the goals started coming, and the fans like me and show a lot of support. I was very scared. I'd go into games, and the fans would tell the coach not to make substitutions. I was patient, and I warn anyone who comes to play for Flamengo that they need to be patient."

Romário - "For everything he's done, he deserves much more tribute. He's the best striker in Brazil. Inside the box, he's unmatched. He knows when to stop, but he has to keep playing and scoring the goals he knows how to. Any player wants to play alongside Romário."

2007 Season - "There will be no lack of dedication. We achieved a very good victory away from home. We want to win the title and qualify for the Libertadores again."

Night in Rio - "I'm not much of a party animal. I'm a family person. I have a role model at home and I want to get home as early as possible to pay attention to my daughter."

Scoring a goal against Vasco or avoiding injury - "I wanted to score a goal. I told everyone. Flamengo won a title with the goal. Even though I was injured, my teammates carried banners into the stadium, and all this support is really good."

Best club to score goals - "I've always been lucky against Vasco."

Comparison with Eto'o - "Eto'o is much better than me. He has a lot of potential. I want to improve.

Favorite club - "I'm Vitória. I was revealed there and I have a lot of affection for it. Now, I'm Vitória and Flamengo."

Moment of injury - "At the time, I was hoping that surgery wouldn't be necessary. Dr. Runco, still on the field, said he didn't know, but in the locker room he said I had a fracture and might need surgery. He still gave me hope, but from what he said the first time, I felt that my situation was complicated."

National Team - "I want to come back, play well and one day make it to the National Team. All players dream of that."

The difference between playing for Vitória and Flamengo - "It's the pressure. The fans here don't have much patience."

Day-to-day - "I wake up at 7:30 a.m. and arrive in Gávea at 8:30 a.m. Then I return at 15:30 p.m. It's a big sacrifice, but someone (the goalkeeper or the team) will have to pay for that time. The beginning was complicated, because of the post-surgery period."

Stadium - "I identify with Maracanã. It's great to play there and have the fans supporting me."

Support from fans - "It's great to see the affection from the kids. I tell them to pursue a goal and I try to pass on all the good things that have happened in my life."

Dream goal - "The goal that could give Flamengo the title. Reach a World Cup final and score the winning goal. I already scored a very important goal, which was the winning goal in the Copa do Brasil."

How many are left until the thousandth? "I don't even know. I always try to score goals, but I don't know if I'll reach the thousandth. I just want to score goals."

Best coach in Brazil - "Wanderlei Luxemburgo and Ney Franco. I really like Joel Santana. He helped me a lot. Renato Gaúcho is a good coach. We have good names in Brazil."

Bruno - He's a great goalkeeper and could be in the 2010 World Cup. He's a great friend and helps me a lot. He's highly rated, and I hope he makes it to the national team.

Childhood - "My family is humble. My father sold fish. My mother also sold a lot of fish. I always keep my feet on the ground, because I come from a humble family and everything I achieved was through hard work. My childhood was complicated, today God gave me the joy to take my father and mother out of that situation. I will always do whatever I can to help them."

Food - "It's balanced. I lost a lot of muscle and lost weight at first. I'm eating a little more, but I hope to maintain my weight. Acarajé is only in Bahia."

Favorite for the Brazilian Championship - "Flamengo. There's Santos with Wanderlei who has put the team together well, as well as São Paulo."
