The red-black squad met on Friday afternoon (July 31.07) to train for the match against Santos. The São Paulo team comes to Maracanã to face Mais Querido on Sunday (August 02.08) for the Brazilian championship.

Initially, the players performed a tactical training session closed to the press. Then, Cristóvão Borges performed technical work on passing and finishing. 

Striker Marcelo Cirino felt pain during training this Thursday (July 30.07) and today underwent an examination that detected a muscle injury in the adductor of his left thigh. The athlete underwent treatment in physiotherapy.

Flamengo and Santos is a match between two of Brazil's biggest clubs, and this Sunday, Maracanã is set to host another major clash.
