In this afternoon's activity at the CT, Joel led a tactical training session.
By Flamengo Archive - inAfter the 1-0 victory over Paraná, in Curitiba, and the day off on Sunday, Flamengo players began the week of preparation for the game against Vasco, Thursday (18/10), at Maracanã, working hard.
After physical activity on Monday morning, coach Joel Santana led a tactical training session at the Training Center in Vargem Grande.
The training session was split between two camps. Joel practiced team positioning on one side, while assistant coach Andrade practiced finishing on the other. The Flamengo coach again used the same midfield lineup as Rômulo, Cristian, Ibson, and Toró.
In defense, Rodrigo Arroz trained with the starters, as captain Fábio Luciano is suspended for Thursday's match (18/10). The defender, who scored the winning goal against Paraná, received his third yellow card and is out of the derby.
The only change to the starting lineup was Renato Augusto's entry into midfield, replacing Toró. In fact, the midfielder was one of the highlights of the match, which the starters won with two beautiful goals from Juan and Léo Moura.
