Team trains in Gávea before traveling to Cuiabá
The red-and-black squad works on technical and tactical aspects in front of the fans; Nixon works out at the gym
By Communication - Official Club Website - inOn the afternoon of this Friday (26.06), the red-black squad worked hard in front of the fans, at the Gávea social headquarters. The meeting with the Nation took place before the trip to Cuiabá, where Flamengo faces Vasco at Arena Pantanal, for the ninth round of the Brazilian Championship.
The training session began with the goalkeepers working separately with Wagner Miranda, while the other players warmed up with altinha and light physical exercises. Then, the field was divided in two, and the players were divided into trios: attacking midfielders and forwards; and defending full-backs, defensive midfielders, and center-backs.
The team continued training on the pitch, split into two halves. One half was dedicated to crossing and finishing; the other, to tactical and technical work. Emerson, Paulinho, Éverton, Samir, Ayrton, Canteros, Márcio Araújo, Anderson Pico, Luiz Antonio, and Alan Patrick practiced free kicks. During the training session, forward Nixon did some muscle strengthening in the gym.
Flamengo is counting on you to become stronger and stronger wherever you are: be it member-fan and help the Most Beloved.
