The Flamengo squad returned to training this Wednesday morning (July 22.07nd), focusing on the match against Goiás on Sunday (July 26.07th) at 16 pm, at Serra Dourada. In the afternoon, the players will return to the field for the second training session at the George Helal Training Center.
The athletes participated in physical training on field 2 and technical training on field 1. Emerson, Cáceres, and Marcelo did separate work in the gym. Before the end of the morning activity, the group practiced finishing. Armero felt pain in his right thigh muscle and will undergo an imaging exam tonight. The Medical Department will have the results at Thursday's training session.
In addition to training later this afternoon, the team will continue working until Saturday, when they will train in the morning and then travel to Goiânia, where they will face Goiás on Sunday for the 15th round of the Brazilian Championship.
