The young supporter was one of the highlights of the 4-2 victory over Madureira, which put the red-black team at the top of Group B of the Rio Cup.
By Flamengo Archive - inSupporter Erick Flores was one of Flamengo's standout performers in yesterday's 4-2 victory over Madureira in Edson Passos. During this afternoon's training session in Gávea, the player couldn't hide his joy at the impressive performance.
"It was a truly special game for me. It will remain in my memory and that of my family. I was able to play some good football, which makes me very happy. I've been working hard and dedicating myself because I knew the opportunity would come."
Since he was nine years at Flamengo, Erick Flores admitted that it took him a while to adapt to the red-black team's professional team.
"Getting promoted to the professional ranks is always very difficult. I was promoted last year, but I didn't get many opportunities and didn't do very well. Even so, I didn't give up and worked hard because I knew the opportunity would come again.
