In response to the statements made by Ms. Simone de Souza, the Medical Department of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo clarifies that:

- The club's athletes undergo annual pre-participation medical (clinical, cardiological, and orthopedic), physical, physiotherapy, and dental evaluations. During these evaluations, thorough clinical and physical examinations are performed to identify changes that could compromise the athletes' health and performance. 

- In addition to these, all other assessments and complementary exams necessary for the personal health and sporting fitness of all athletes were promptly sent to the IML by the club, as soon as requested.

- In order to speed up the recognition process, the club advised families that if they had any other documentation or specific and complementary exams carried out privately, at any age, they should send them to Flamengo, to be passed on to the IML.
