With 156 locations in Brazil, Flamengo's newest Football School will open on August 31st at the Federal Club, located at 988 Rua Timóteo da Costa. The inauguration will run from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m., and will feature friendly matches between the different School locations, raffles for official Flamengo merchandise, and a variety of other attractions. The event will feature one of the club's jewels, U-17 forward Lázaro Vinicius (top scorer in the 2019 Brazilian Championship), a Flamengo School alumnus.

With classes for both boys and girls, enrollment can be completed on-site—starting on opening day—or through the Flamengo School website. Supporters of Mengão by becoming a fan club member also receive a discount, as do members of the Federal Club. Flamengo's Soccer Schools' mission is to develop not only players but also stars off the field. All enrolled students have the opportunity to join the club's youth academy through two channels: participating in the Fla Cups or through Fla Scout.
