The heavy rain that fell this morning in Teresópolis forced the coaching staff to change their plans. The recreational training session that was supposed to take place on the field was swapped for a lively basketball game in the Granja Comary gymnasium. The games proved that, despite the anxiety, everyone knows that all that's left is to wait for the ball to roll for Flamengo to confirm the Brazilian title on the field.
"It's a very important moment; any player would love this opportunity. But we've prepared for this. I woke up today wanting it to be game time already, and we're going to do everything we can to keep the title in Rio," commented right-back Leonardo Moura.

\ In an interview marked by emotion, the red-black number 2 did not hide his\ satisfaction at being able to win another title wearing the Flamengo shirt.

 Having been at the club for five years, he has already gone through the suffering of almost being relegated to the Second Division in 2005, he has won titles and now he wants to become part of the club's history.

\ - I keep thinking that in 1992 I was behind the goal, in a chair, watching\ Flamengo become champion.

Now I'm fighting for a title 17 years later. It's a long wait, not 17 days.

Leonardo Moura also joined the chorus of praise for coach Andrade. After a difficult start to the year, he believes he has turned things around with the arrival of the new coach.
