One of Flamengo's prospects for the coming seasons, young Everton has once again earned a starting spot. Yesterday, during tactical training, coach Caio Júnior opted to play Vandinho alongside Josiel, removing Everton from the team. With his strong performance in today's training session, Everton hopes to secure a spot for Sunday's match against Ipatinga at Maracanã.

-"I'm very calm. Yesterday I wasn't among the starters, but today Caio Júnior chose me. I hope I'm among the starters."

For Everton, the red-black team is gaining chemistry with the sequence of games with the same base.

"We didn't play well against São Paulo, but it's not worth changing the entire team. The sequence of games is crucial. Little by little, the chemistry is improving. Playing with Ibson, Kleberson, and Marcelinho Paraíba is great. They're experienced players who give me a lot of peace of mind."

Even with Ipatinga in the relegation zone, Everton believes it will be a tough match on Sunday.

"Ipatinga isn't doing well and really needs a win. It'll be a tough game, but we'll do everything we can to get this victory."
