Éverton, who scored the red-and-black goal, analyzed the opponent, highlighting the difficulty in penetrating Mano Menezes's defensive block. "Playing here is very difficult. Cruzeiro has a good team. They played deep, and it was difficult to break through," said the striker.

Aligned with the speech by coach Zé Ricardo, Éverton is betting on work to get back to winning ways in the sequence of matches that are coming up at the end of the first round.

"Now it's time to work towards the next games," concluded the striker.

Coach Zé Ricardo's team will resume activities at Ninho do Urubu on Monday afternoon (17), aiming for the next challenge in the Brazilian Championship. On Wednesday (19), Flamengo will host the Palmeiras team at Ilha do Urubu, with the ball rolling from 21:45 pm.
