"We've gained confidence, which helps a lot. Everything went well, and we're in a good rhythm, showcasing our football. This is a time for growth, training is really helping, and we hope to come back with everything we've got," said the midfielder.

Regarding the return match against São Paulo at Maracanã, Everton spoke about the preparations carried out by the Flamengo coach. "Barbieri is testing many options, trying different formations and tactical variations. It will be a different Flamengo, but we hope to remain strong. These are both teams in very good form, we're at home and with our fans, who have already shown they make a difference," said Ribeiro.

Flamengo's new addition for the championship's return will be Colombian Fernando Uribe, who has been training hard with the group in recent days. "This period has been very good for him, as he's just arriving. It's great for us to see how he plays, how he prefers to receive the ball. It's very good for the team; when he starts, he'll already be in sync," he added.
