After training this Wednesday (10), held at Ninho do Urubu, midfielder Everton Ribeiro was chosen to give the first press conference since the return of activities at the CT. The red-black captain answered questions through FlaTV. Check out some excerpts:

Time to train
 "We know it's a different time. Even though we don't know when the games will be, we're preparing so that when the date comes, we'll be at a high level. Flamengo has been preparing and discussing the return."

Mister's Renewal
"When we heard he'd renewed, we gave him a jersey with the number 2021. He asked, 'What's that? Oh, now I'm done. I've signed it.' The team was pushing for him to stay every day. We wanted him to stay; everyone feels good about the coach's work."

Racism
"After the tragedy with Floyd, every movement turned to talking about racism. From what I've learned, it still exists a lot here in Brazil. There are movements that seek to combat it, and we have to give them a voice so they can express their feelings and experiences. I try to be closer so that my children can live in a non-racist, more just society."

Impacts of the “new normal”
"We'll have to adapt to the new reality. We're noticing that teams playing at home aren't having as much of an advantage as before, with the presence of fans. We're preparing ourselves mentally to know that this will be a new era."
