Everton Ribeiro brings 'Flamília' to the Flamengo Museum, relives achievements and shares an item with the Nation
The Flamengo idol visited the new historic space at the Gávea headquarters alongside his wife and children and donated his captain's armband to the club's collection.

Everton Augusto de Barros Ribeiro is the captain of the happiest days of a generation of Flamengo fans. Last Tuesday (8), the number 7 was at the Gávea headquarters in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and visited the new Flamengo Museum. Protagonist of so many moments recorded in the club's collection, the athlete brought his wife, Marília Nery, and his sons, Augusto and Antônio, to relive achievements of his career with the Sacred Mantle. It was an unforgettable afternoon for the Flamengo "Flamília", so identified with the red and black.
Everton Ribeiro, who has been playing for Flamengo since 2017, is the longest-serving player in the current squad. When he arrived at the club, many of the club's most prominent titles had yet to be won. This fact is a source of great pride for the player.
"It's very gratifying to see that, since I arrived, we've managed to win major titles. Flamengo is growing stronger and stronger, and the nation is growing stronger and stronger, and that gives me great joy. Seeing that this beautiful story continues to grow and that I'm a part of it is very special. I brought my family here. My children, my wife, and I recommend that all fans come and bring their families. I'm sure Flamengo fans will really enjoy this new museum," he said.
The sons of the number 7 are true darlings of the nation. Guto and Totói, as they're affectionately known, celebrated at the Flamengo Museum. Besides hearing stories, they spotted Everton Ribeiro's teammates, close to them: "Look, it's Uncle Bruno Henrique!" said Antônio upon seeing the star player wearing the number 27 on the museum's interactive welcome screen. It was a special moment for the little ones and their dad.
"It was very exciting to have them here with me, to remember a little of what I experienced here at Flamengo. And now they are at an age where they understand a little more and have been able to see the history their father is building in this giant of world football. I am very happy. I hope the number of achievements can increase even more and they (Augusto and Antônio) can become even more Flamengo fans," he added.
During the visit, there was a classy encounter between Flamengo's current number 7 and its eternal number 8, the idol Adílio. In the special 1981 room, Everton Ribeiro's children watched a video of the World Cup in Japan and joked around with the star. At the end of the visit, Everton shared a historic item with the entire Flamengo Nation. The man who led so many recent victories brought a captain's armband, signed it, and donated it to the Flamengo Museum. His goal is to continue contributing to the club's collection with more titles.
"The Museum is something that motivates us even more. Being here reminds us of how good it is to be a champion, how good it is to be at Flamengo, and how special it is to bring joy to this nation. I was talking to Adílio there, about how this feeling is indescribable, and we will definitely strive to be champions again. Our desire is to bring more pieces, more trophies, to this great museum and further enhance this beautiful history," he declared.
Everton Ribeiro has played 374 matches for the Sacred Mantle and scored 45 goals. The number 7 has won two Libertadores (2019 and 2022), two Brazilian Championships (2019 and 2020), two Brazilian Super Cups (2020 and 2021), one Brazilian Cup (2022), one South American Recopa (2020), and three Carioca Championships (2019, 2020, and 2021).
