Former player Adílio is honored with a bust in Gávea
Rubro-negro is yet another idol whose image is now sculpted in bronze at the Club's headquarters.

Adílio, the midfielder who won the Interclub World Cup with the club in 81 and is one of the club's most important players, has just had his bust unveiled in Gávea. The event took place on Friday afternoon (26) in the entrance hall of the club's headquarters, and was attended by president Rodolfo Landim, vice president general and legal, Rodrigo Dunshee, as well as other vice presidents, prominent benefactors, former players from the victorious generation of the 80s, members, and hundreds of fans. The bust was sculpted by artist Eduardo Santos and designed by members of Fla-Nação.
Overjoyed and moved by the tribute, Adílio was surrounded by longtime friends and family who were there to honor the star. The eternal number 8 from Gávea thanked Flamengo and the immense Red-Black Nation.
"It's a great joy to be here receiving this honor. I've spent my entire life at Flamengo, I've made my history here, and I owe everything to this club. I still work for Flamengo today. I want to thank all the affection of this wonderful fan base and say how happy I am," said Adílio.
