The sale of Flamengo's pink Manto started at full speed this Monday (24), at the adidas store, at the Gávea social headquarters. This morning, in about two hours, the first 150 copies made available to fans of the limited edition shirt in support of Pink October, a campaign that aims to raise awareness and prevent breast cancer, were sold. The team will enter the field wearing the uniform in the match against Atlético-MG, next Saturday (29), in Belo Horizonte.

Before the store opened, fans had already formed a huge line to purchase the new, extremely rare jersey. According to the store manager, a Flamengo fan—one of the first in line—traveled from Brasília to Rio de Janeiro to secure hers.

In total, there are only 550 copies of the special uniform and part of the profits from the sale of the pieces will be donated by adidas to cancer fighting institutions.
